Upgrading from Wordshark (Original), Wordshark 2 or 2L, or Numbershark (Original)

These were designed for DOS machines, and do not work well with on operating systems more recent than Windows 98.

Their data cannot be imported into Wordshark 3.+  or Numbershark 3+

If working, they may be left on the computer (if already installed), or removed.  To remove, delete the program folder (usually c:\NSHARK or c:\SHARK) and any desktop icon. These are very old DOS programs, so are unlikely to feature on the “add/remove programs” list.
