FAQ 6: The computer does not retain information
Q6. The computer does not remember where we got up to - it forgets the list we are on, or games we have played, or (in Wordshark) word lists we have added in. If I add new students or courses, they seem to disappear .
This may be due to:
A) Corrupted files
B) You are signed on as a temporary student
C) The installation was not completed correctly. Typically, it will be due to incorrect paths or permissions on a network version. Often you will also be constantly prompted for your licence key. On a stand-alone CD version, it can occur in rare cases where a restricted user rather than a computer administrator has installed the program.
