Apple Macintosh System Requirements:
CD standalone versions and network versions are available.
Operating system:
Operating System Mac OS X version 10.3 “Panther” (released Nov 2003)
Operating System Mac OS X version 10.4 “Tiger” (released June 2005)
These are fully compatible with Numbershark & Wordshark v3.06 to 4.02
Earlier versions of Numbershark & Wordshark do not run on Mac, but may be traded in.
Operating System Mac OSX version 10.5 “Leopard” (released Nov 2007)
This is compatible with Numbershark 4.03 & Wordshark v4.02 onwards (March 08)

We recommend external speakers+microphone for best quality.
A printer is useful for word lists, word searches and crossword puzzles
Wordshark requires 450Mb Hard Disk space, and Numbershark 150Mb.
You may also need additional hard disk space for OS upgrades.
Updating:
*1 If you have Macintosh OS X version 10.2 (“Jaguar”) it is likely that you will need to do one or more Mac “Software Updates” to obtain the following requirements:
Mac OS X version 10.2.6 or above
Java 1.4 (only available when Mac OS X version 10.2.6 or above is installed)
Software Updates are freely available from Apple to update your current software.
Java 1.4 is provided by default in OS X 10.3, so is standard on most computers bought after Nov 2003
