Network Versions:
Network products are bought for “Mac” network or “PC” network. We do not support hybrid Mac+PC networks. Please specify “Mac” or “PC” when ordering.
This is the usual purchase for schools, colleges, FE colleges and some prisons.

The network version requires a server or network attached storage or (XP Pro only) peer to peer running - it is not licensed for use on standalone machines.  The disk comes with two copies of your network Licence Certificate. We suggest you retain one for school  licence records, and leave the other one for the ICT technician’s use.
The concurrent-user network site licence allows you to install our software on a single server for deployment to all networked client computers at the single named geographical location for use by the named organisation.

The program automatically counts and allows a set number of networked computer users to connect simultaneously. The maximum number of concurrent computer users is displayed on-screen within the program, and connected computers and users are listed under the “file/list of users” menu.

Deployment & Use:
The program is installed either fully onto the server (effectively thin client mode), OR onto client machines with the server holding the student data only (best for wireless and slow networks).

No CD drives are needed  (other than on server for initial install).

As all data is stored centrally, any member of staff and any student may access their work & records from any computer.

The programs are interactive whiteboard compatible,
The programs can detect Active Directory for automatic login,
The programs are now commonly used across a wide age and ability range, having developed from earlier versions which were normally  “Special needs only”
Two levels of Admin (network manager and education staff, and ability for multiple staff to set work for any given student(s) makes this the type of choice for most organisations.
