CD “Stand Alone” Versions:
 The CD “Stand Alone” version works on both Mac and PC.
The “stand alone” CD version is a “single user at a time” portable licence.
This is the usual purchase for home users.
 This is also used in some schools with “standalone” computers.
This licence allows you to install the program onto as many machines as you like, with the restriction that the disk needs to be in place in the local CD drive (internal or external) in order for the program to run.


The CD may not be copied, though we do offer a disk replacement service should the CD become scratched or cracked.
Please contact Sales for advice if you have a netbook, or are otherwise unable to access a CD drive.

 School Use: Considerations
If you are a school with the CD version, and are considering buying more, please contact Sales first to check that the versions you have are compatible with each other, and offer best value for money.  Advice: Buying additional Cds
The CD version does not come with a separate paper licence Please email  Sales if you have the CD version and need a written consent for your licence file
Each computer individually stores student data (including personalised word lists and records).


We advise that the school network manager is consulted before purchasing a single-user CD as not all networks are compatible with our CDs.


The CD version is NOT suitable, or licensed,  for running from a central “CD-Stack”
