Purchasing Additional Licences

Our network licence is a “site licence for a given number of concurrently used machines”.  The minimum concurrent limit is 10 machines, and  additional licences may be purchased in bundles of 5.

The program may be deployed to every computer on the network within your geographical site, each computer in use at a given time counting as one of the total licences.  For your convenience, from version 3.06 the program automatically counts how many licences are being used and warns if this is exceeded.  To view active use, go to file / list of users.

If  you  purchase additional licences (additional users), you do NOT need to uninstall, or reinstall to activate these,  as you may purchase additional licences without upgrading to the latest release of the program.  You may, however, wish to consider ordering an upgrade at the same time.  You will be sent two copies of a new licence certificate. We suggest one is placed within your network documentation, and you retain the other with the network CD for use by the installing technician during any future reinstall.

The licence certificate shows the new total number of licences owned by  your organisation, including those transferred from the previous licence. This information  will also be displayed on screen in the program.  

This licence supercedes your previous licence.  There is a danger of future techs being confused and entering the earlier licence code during any reinstall. This would effectively downgrade your installation back to the original smaller number of users, so we recommend you shred the original licence.

To increase to your new licence entitlement:

A) Sign onto the program as program administrator.  You do NOT need to be signed on as the network administrator - so do not need to book a technician.

B)  Go to menu Admin / Advanced Features / Update licence agreement.

C) Restart the program, and note that the new increased number of users is displayed.
