If Numbershark 3 or 4 or Wordshark 3s or 4  single-user CD version,  
what release number?
If possible, open the program, go to file / version.
Recent releases have the release number on the CD and on the back of the CD case (e.g. “Wordshark 3s.05”)

Do you have a single-user CD, or the school network version of the program?

Is the program running on a “standalone” computer, or on machines that are on a network?

What operating system are you running?

Apple Macintosh OS X [which one?]
Windows 95, Windows 98,  Millennium [ME], NT, Server 2003, XP,  Vista [which version]?
