Wordshark and Numbershark work in similar ways. Most of the following error messages apply to both programs.  These error messages are based on release 4.06 and later. Earlier versions have fewer error messages to help with trouble-shooting.


Error code 16  

POSSIBLE REASONS & SOLUTIONS:
A) A file corruption has occurred: Reinstall.
B) Mac User is attempting to use a fake copy of our software.

Error code 17  

POSSIBLE REASONS & SOLUTIONS:
A) A file corruption has occurred: Reinstall.
B) Mac User is attempting to use a fake copy of our software.

Error code 18

POSSIBLE REASONS & SOLUTIONS:
This is shown on a Mac, if the program cannot create the shared data folder within  /Library/Application Support/Wordshark 4/.
Reinstall, ensuring that you are signed on as the main (admin) user of the Mac, and not as a restricted user.
