There are no known issues specific to domestic users in Northern Ireland.

Standard School Networks:
Network versions install easily onto Northern Ireland NONE-C2K school networks. Our CD stand-alone version also works well in non-C2K schools unless (rarely) subject to group policy restrictions set by the school itself.
C2K Schools: Network Versions of Wordshark and Numbershark

The contract between C2K and Northgate currently precludes installation of our production networks onto C2K schools, and we are working with C2K to seek a resolution. If you are a C2K school, please do not purchase a Wordshark or Numbershark network version until we are able to resolve this issue.

Current solutions for C2K Schools:

Note that the standard C2K permissions allow the following versions to be used by a school’s teachers.
Permissions for  visiting teachers, teaching assistants and students need to be adjusted by C2K to allow use of these products, and requests for permission changes need to be made by the school using the normal C2K channels.

The stand-alone CD version works well on the C2K system BUT requires a non-standard C2K specific  install method. Please download and follow these instructions. We thank C2K for working with us to resolve this issue.

Contact Sales for our a non-CD based product for C2K schools. It does not need a CD in the drive after install.
This “Activation Version” installs onto a computer using the CD instructions above. It is then activated on-line.   Sales can also advise & fulfil orders  on our C2K  USB based version, which runs from a memory stick and stores data on the same stick.
